Kit Carson Propane Vocational Scholarship
Kit Carson Propane is pleased to offer a new scholarship program to support applicants enrolled in trade programs. The program will award one thousand dollars ($1000) to one applicant in the following areas Penasco, Questa, Ojo Caliente, Angel Fire and Taos. The award is disbursed over a two-year term. Five hundred dollars ($500) each year. Applicants can study to become a home builder, general contractor, carpenter, electrician, plumber, HVAC specialist, or other building and construction trade professional.
Number of Scholarships: Five (5).
Award Term: Applicants must be enrolled in a two-year accredited institution. Applicants chosen will receive five hundred dollars ($500) awarded for the first year and five hundred dollars ($500) awarded for the second year. To qualify for the second-year award, the applicant must maintain a 2.5 grade point average (GPA).
Who can Apply:
- Applicant graduating with a 2.5 or above cumulative grade point average (GPA).
- Applicant must attend an accredited Technical/Vocational Institution.

Write a Letter of Intent. Include reasons for requesting a scholarship and projected career path goals.
