Green Fuel
Did you know that propane is a “green” fuel? It’s true! By simply using propane, you can help cut greenhouse gas emissions, improve air quality, and protect the environment. Propane is non-toxic and cannot dissolve in water, so it is not harmful to our ecosystems. Propane is a clean-burning fuel with low emissions – which means fewer greenhouse gasses released into the atmosphere. Propane is listed as an approved alternative clean fuel in the 1990 Clean Air Act and the National Energy Policy Act of 1992. Propane does not produce any significant acid rain contaminants. Propane is produced domestically and is readily available.
