KCEC CEO Luis A. Reyes Jr. participated in a panel discussion titled “Achieving Net Zero: What’s Next for Utilities” at the 2025 Energy Thought Summit (ETS). The panel focused on exploring the pathways utilities can take beyond their initial net-zero targets. Discussions included innovations in carbon capture, green hydrogen, energy storage, and the ongoing decarbonization of power sources. KCEC, a small rural cooperative in northern New Mexico, is making significant strides on a national level.
