Utility Bill Assistance 

 The Department of Finance and Administration (DFA) will administer approximately $170 million appropriated for the Emergency Rental Assistance program for the State of New Mexico. Click here for more information.

 

Internet Utility Assistance 

As of May 12, 2021, eligible households will be able to enroll in the program to receive a monthly discount of $50 or $75 for Tribal off the cost of broadband service from an approved provider. Eligible households can enroll by visiting GetEmergencyBroadband.org.

KCEC Scam Alert 06/14/2019

KCEC Members, 

Kit Carson Electric Cooperative, Inc. (KCEC) received a complaint that our billing system had been hacked. Member stated unauthorized payment was made to their account via echeck. All KCEC’s billing systems (Electric, Internet and Propane) have been operating properly and with all security protocols in place.  KCEC’s billing system has not been hacked.  If you have unauthorized charges to your electric account or have questions regarding if your account has been compromised, please contact our customer service department and your banking institution to determine if your individual checking account information has been compromised.  We appreciate your continued support.
