Kit Carson Internet is currently facing an internet outage that is impacting approximately 95 customers in the Red River area, specifically along East High Street, Prospector Trail, and some nearby roads. Crews have identified a large splice case that has completely frozen. They will begin the slow process of thawing the case using a large heater to prevent further damage. This thawing process may take several hours. KCI will provide updates as the situation progresses.
