KCEC Board Election Information
May 9, 2023 – DISTRICT ONE election of two Trustees will be held at the Kit Carson Electric Boardroom. Candidates are Manuel A. Medina, Dennis F. Gonzales and David Torres. Voting starts at 7:00 a.m. and until 6:00 p.m.
May 11, 2023 – DISTRICT TWO meeting and election by acclamation of two Trustees will be held at the Village of Questa Municipal Offices. The candidates are Bobby R. Ortega and Bernie A. Torres. No casting of ballots by the Members will take place since this is an uncontested election for the two available Board positions for District Two. The Meeting will start at 9:00 a.m.

The DISTRICT ONE election of Kit Carson Electric Cooperative, Inc., for the election of two Trustees, will be held on May 9, 2023, at the headquarters building of Kit Carson Electric Cooperative, Inc. 118 Cruz Alta Rd.
DISTRICT ONE includes Taos, San Cristobal, Arroyo Hondo, Arroyo Seco, Valdez, Des Montes, Taos Ski Valley, Blueberry Hill, Las Colonias, Cordillera, El Prado, Canon, Taos Canyon, Valle Escondido, Talpa, Ranchos de Taos, Los Cordovas, Pot Creek, Taos Pueblo, Twining, Llano Quemado, and Pilar.
